re-imagining livelihood

integrating intentionality into our relationship with money, wealth, and livelihood

Crew of Collaborators: Carol Xu

If we are interested in bringing about a new world that mitigates/transforms greed, materialism, domination, and alienation, how do we put it in action? How are we going to show up in a way that balances between idealism and practicality?

Here are some common questions regarding practicality that we often brush aside: How are we going to make a living that supports our personal journeys? How might we collaborate in organizations that are not trapped in greed-driven "business models'' in the form of for-profits or endless hunting for funding in the world of nonprofits?

In this collective exploration, we invite you to dive deep into these questions and examine your own relationships to money, wealth, and livelihood (all of which tend to be regarded as taboo topics in our culture).

Instead of business models, are there viable livelihood models that help us reimagine living our lives in ways that are more aligned with our values and passion? Would you like to share your experiments and learn from others? If yes, welcome to onboard this exploration with other trailblazers and pathfinders!
